Finally! Some new music from A. KEYS. The record is alright, not bad but nothing to go crazy about. I'm sure Alicia is just giving us something to hold us over until some real HEAT comes out (well, I hope this is the case). Anyway, the song was produced by Swizz Beatz.
Karma is something NO ONE is exempt from. Karma hurts. Karma stings. Karma comes when we least expect it. In other words, Karma is a b*tch. If you don’t believe me, let these artists explain it to you:
Take a behind-the-scenes look as Usherprepares for his AMEX: Unstaged Concert. As an Usher fan, I am a bit upset his album isn't doing well. After watching this video, I can see that Usher is still that driven artist who strives hard to perfect his craft.
I love this song. I just started becoming a Jordin Sparks fan in the last couple of months. I underestimated her talent (shame on me). Whitney really sounds great on this record...we miss you. May you rest in peace.
Say what you want about Monica but if you say she can't perform, you're a LIAR. Monica has ALWAYS been a dynamic and consistent performer. Her BLUES rendition of "It All Belongs To Me" was simply phenomenal! Much. Much. Respect.
The people can't seem to get enough of Jim Jones' VAMPIRE LIFE clothes. The clothing is selling out of stores all over New York and online outlets around the world. To get your VL gear, log onto their official online store www.onemindonesole.com.
MAYBACH MUSIC GROUP has done it again! Another classic hip hop album that you MUST ride in the streets with your top down with the speakers playing so loud that they bleed. Show respect, it's another MMG SUMMER TAKEOVER...
Here's the scenario: You're an artist. You're in love. You're partner is an artist. You're partner is also in love.
Then the idea comes..."let's do a song together and show the world how much we love each other". The song is a huge hit and you're STILL in love.
Fast forward a few months and in some cases, a few years, and...YOU'RE NO LONGER IN LOVE and the great song you recorded with your EX sucks and you never want to hear that song again. Never mind the millions of fans who love the song, the song is now considered a constant reminder of the relationship you once had with someone you now HATE. So, in other words, DON'T EXPECT THE ARTIST TO EVER PERFORM THAT SONG AGAIN.
BOW WOW x CIARA- LIKE YOU
JANET JACKSON x JERMAINE DUPRI- SOMEONE TO CALL MY LOVER
KELIS x NAS- IN PUBLIC
KENNY LATTIMORE x CHANTE MOORE- MAKE IT LAST FOREVER
This countdown was much harder than I anticipated. Jermaine definitely has/had some GREAT talent at So So Def. When JD said, take small groups, turn them into big names, HE WASN'T LYING. In case you're wondering, I purposely left Jermaine out of the countdown because I wanted to recognize him as the CEO of So So Def...although I think JD is a talented artist.
I have always respected the fact that JD wasn't caught up in making mainstream music. Most of his artists stayed true to the r&b and rap formula. It seemed as if being on BET was satisfying enough...it's like he didn't mind if his artists weren't played on mainstream media outlets like MTV and VH1. MUCH RESPECT JD. YALL KNOW WHAT THIS IS!!!
