LEBRON ANSWERS HIS CRITICS...AGAIN

Nike does it again! Every now and then, professional athletes address their critics thru a commercial and I’m not a bit surprised that Lebron went after Charles Barkley in his rant---but going after Jordan was a bit surprising (considering Jordan makes Nike BILLIONS of dollars a year)! Smart move for Nike? I don’t think so…

MTV’S 2010 HOTTEST MC’S

Although I’m not an Eminem fan, it’s hard to argue his number 1 spot because of his album sales and chart-topping singles. I definitely won’t dispute Jigga at number 2. I only have 2 problems with this list---Rick Ross should be number 3 because his album was phenomenal and he had soooo many SMASH singles.

Drake’s ranking should be #8 at best because his album was a disappointment, his singles were lack luster (except for songs he was featured on). I know a lot of people don’t agree with Waka being on the list but last year MTV considered putting Soulja Boy in the rankings, and so it doesn’t surprise me at all that Waka made the cut this year…

BE LIKE MIKE: BEST MJ COMMERCIALS

With the 2010 basketball season approaching, why not pay homage to the BEST basketball player EVER. Watching these commercials gave me chills. Without number 23, the game of basketball will NEVER be the same. Michael Jordan was so much more than a basketball player…

TYGA- MAYBE

Usually when rappers start their careers with corny ringtone music, they fail 99.9% of the time BUT Tyga has managed to maintain a solid music career---I respect that.

MUSIC’S BEST TRILOGIES: AS EASY AS 1, 2, 3

Rap fans may be waiting on Dr. Dre’s Chronic 2 album (at this rate, I guess the Chronic 3 is out of the question), but R&B fans are awaiting the arrival of Maxwell’s BLACKsummers’night trilogy series. While we ALL wait, I had to pay respect to music’s best trilogies…

MOVIE TRAILER: TANGLED

Tangled (previously known as Rapunzel) is an upcoming American 3D animated film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios. Tangled is about a charming bandit, Flynn Rider, who is taken hostage by Rapunzel, a beautiful and feisty tower-bound teen with 70 feet of magical golden hair.

After watching the trailer, Tangled reminds me of the movie Shrek---so if you liked Shrek’s humor, you should like Rapunzel. The movie hits theaters November 24, 2010!

THE BLACK ALBUMS: TURN THE LIGHTS OUT

WHO DID IT BETTER: JA RULE VS. THE GAME- PUSHIN’ IT

Ja Rule recorded the song 2 years ago, and I guess he decided not to use it. Fast forward 2 years later, the song lands in The Game’s hands. Consequently, the song was supposed to be on The Game’s Red album but sources say he won’t be using this song either….
