I may be a little late on this BUT just in case you didn’t watch the premiere last week, Undercovers is a show about a married couple who secretly live their lives as spies. The show airs Wednesday nights at 8pm on NBC.
NO ORDINARY FAMILY
No need for a long synopsis---this show is about a family with super powers! How cool is that! Watch Tuesday nights at 8pm on ABC (this actually premiered last night).
The days of sending a note asking do you like me, check the box yes or no IS OVER. These days, people make-up and break-up by sending text messages. And we ALL know what a disaster it is to send people naked pics using your camera phone. Ughhh!
At this point, Boosie’s future is unknown. On June 17th, Lil Boosie was indicted on federal first degree murder charges. If Lil Boosie is convicted, the death penalty is not out of the question. In addition to these charges, prosecutors believe the 27-year-old rapper may have been involved in at least five other slayings. On June 28, Lil Boosie entered a not-guilty plea in a Louisiana court room.
No other entertainer had more pressure on them than Tevin---Quincy Jones was hailing him the next MichaelJackson and Prince expected him to be the next big superstar in entertainment. Talent wise, very few can touch him vocally but Tevin somewhat underachieved. Maybe he didn’t want the big success? Regardless, Tevin gave the world remarkable music.
At the time these episodes were filmed, Boosie was supposed to serve 1 year in jail. Unfortunately, more charges were filed against him. To date, he remains imprisoned for first degree murder, and is still underinvestigation for his role in five murders. Boosie has also been charged with three counts of possession with intent to distribute narcotics (attempting to import codeine and marijuana into his correctional facility). If found guilty of all charges, Boosie may face the death penalty.
I almost didn’t post this because after looking at the list, it has no validity. First of all, MJ should be number 1 (although The Beatles being number 1 is not a terrible choice) but MJ at number 3 is unacceptable!
Secondly, Janet Jackson did not make this list (how can Janet not be considered to be a top 100 artist, ridiculous).
Last but not least, R. Kelly is also NOT on this list. I honestly didn’t expect R. Kelly to make the top 100 because he ‘s always over-looked. No offense to Justin Timberlake, but he SHOULD HAVE NOT made this list…I also am wondering how LL Cool J made it (number 92).
Go to Vh1.com for the complete list.
10. STEVIE WONDER 09. JAMES BROWN 08. ELVIS PRESLEY 07. PRINCE 06. JIMI HENDRIX 05. ROLLING STONES 04. LED ZEPPELIN 03. MICHAEL JACKSON 02. BOB DYLAN 01. THE BEATLES
Other notable artists on the list: 100. ALICIA KEYS 095. OUTKAST 094. MARIAH CAREY 069. TUPAC SHAKUR 066. JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE 063. NOTORIOUS BIG 060. WHITNEY HOUSTON 052. BEYONCE 047. JAY-Z 034. TINA TURNER
M. Night may be catching a lot of flack because The Last Airbender was so bad BUT he may regain respect if his new movie, Devil does well in the box office. Either way, M. Night has written/produced some phenomenal films---The Sixth Sense is one of the best movies of all time.
I rarely post behind-the-scenes music videos because I think they’re pointless BUT I gotta show love to Ms. Kelly (she‘s soooo talented yet underrated, well at least the UK recognizes her great talent). I’m glad she’sshooting a video for Rose Colored Glasses because the song has been a floating around the internet world for a few months and it’s definitely a SMASH! Hopefully, the actual music video will be released this week…
I don't watch the VMA's because it is usually boring, and the ONLY reason I watched it last year is because of the chaos. For those of you who watched it last night, was it a let down or a really good show?
No matter what, nothing will top last year's VMA's but at least this year we can talk about the music and not the IDIOTS who ruined the show.
This song is really hot (written and produced by Cee-Lo Green). Note to other R&B female artists: if you want to compete with R&B's elite, you have to create your OWN soundand style. At the end of the day, there’s only ONE Beyonce. Obviously, Melody was SMART enough to know that! If she looks familiar, she was a member of the Pussycat Dolls.
We all know Dawnfrom Danity Kane is now a member of Dirty Money but what about the rest of the disbanded group…
I was shocked to see a recent Ustream video (aired in August 2010), which featured both Aundreaand Aubrey. On the video, the girls announced they are going to record a song together.
Shannon is now a country singer but she has not released any new music yet. My sources tell me she is still a professional dancer (no, NOT that type of dancer, haaaaa) and she hopes to release some new music soon.
D. Woods is still on her grind, and she recently released her new single LADY IN THE STREET.
At the end of the day, it seems ALL of the members of Danity Kane are still in the music business. It's too bad they are no longer a group, Diddy really had something special. I’ll NEVER forget when Shannon sang, do do you have a first aid kit handy-SHANNON KILLED it!!!!
On September 22, 2009, Lil Boosie plead guilty to a third-offense marijuana charge. While awaiting trial, Boosie was placed on a probationary house arrest. In his last days before November 9th, his life was documented. In this 9-part candid series, Motion Family Films offered a visual documentation of his last days of freedom.
I couldn’t resist doing this post. It’s hard enough to get into this business, and its even harder staying relevant and respected. As much as people try to hold these women down, they have managed to not only conquer singing but acting as well---RESPECT!
Fabo and Ryan Leslie actually make a good team. It’s still up in the air if Fabo, Ryan, and Ne-Yo will form that SUPERGROUP (yawn) but for now, we’ll just have to listen to the sounds of Fab and R. Les.
Also, check out behind-the-scenes footage of the making of You Be Killin’ Em.
